What We Believe
We believe Yah, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, is the One and only True Elohim.
We believe in the death (Matthew 27:50), burial (Matthew 27:60) and resurrection (Matthew 28:6) of our Messiah, Yeshua, the only begotten son of Yah (John 3:16).
We believe Yeshua is the Word made flesh (John 1:14). Therefore, before He became flesh, He was the same Word but in written format, called the Torah.
We believe that salvation comes from the acceptance of Yeshua (John 1:12), entering into a new covenant between He and us (Hebrews 8:10). By this acceptance, we who were once wild branches, are now grafted into His kingdom (Romans 11:17).
We believe that as grafted branches, we have become freemen of His kingdom and are to love Him (Luke 10:27). We love Him by obeying His commands, which are not bondage (1 John 5:2-3). These commands are found in the first 5 books of the Tanakh: The Torah. The same way one obeys the laws of the nation with whom they become citizens, we obey the commands of His Kingdom.
We believe marriage is between a man, born with the genitals of a male and the XY chromosome, and a woman, born with the genitals of a female and the XX chromosome.
We believe Yeshua was the final sacrifice (Hebrews 10:26). To continue to willfully sin leaves us without any other way to salvation, but instead leads us into the judgment of Yah (Hebrews 10:27).
We believe the Torah of Yah is freedom (Romans 6:15-18). We have been made free from the bondage of sin by having the commands of Yah to show us that sin is bondage.
We believe the House of Judah (often referred to as the Jews) did a good job keeping records of days and remain correct in the Sabbath day being the 7th day of the week, called Saturday in America. On this day, the commands of Yah should be taught (Acts 15:21).
We believe we are to love one another (Galations 5:13-14). We do this by obeying the commands of Yah, as they were designed to teach us how to love (Matthew 22:37-40).
We believe we are the light to the world and are to let His light shine through us (Matthew 5:14-16). We do this by practicing Yah's Torah (the covenant of light), which trains us in righteousness to be equipped for every good work, which was the purpose for which He had the Word put into written form (2 Timothy 3:16).
We believe that we have all been made one body, but have different responsibilities (Romans 12:4-8).
We believe in the gift of the Ruach HaKodesh (Set apart Spirit of Yah) (Acts 2:38). Thru this gift, we can see the Gifts of the Ruach in action (1 Corinthians 12:7-11) for the sake of the body of Yeshua.
We believe we are to build up the Body of Yeshua (1 Thessalonians 5:11).
We believe we are to gather often, taking that time to provoke one-another towards love, to do good works, and to build each-other up in our faith.
We believe that once we have rooted ourselves in love for our household, we are to build this love with one another, then share it with those outside the Body of Yeshua, and finally spread this love to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8).
Finally, we believe that all Salvation, glory, honor and power belongs to Yah, our God (Revelation 19:1)
